are these b or c springs

front has a green tag it reads 74.5/6695 mof e5sc-5310-ka the back has e5sc-5560-aa any info would be great

They were sopposed to be the c springs but I dont know

Best way is to call ford racing i guess...

only thing i could find on C Springs is the part #

397-M-5300-C

Could be C springs they are very common.

I've got some B's in my garage waiting to go in... Let me check the tag's on them.

EDIT: These are the part numbers right from my springs.

Rear E4BC-5310-AA
Front E5SC-5560-AA

srothfuss my fronts are the same but the back is diifferent I looked on the frpp website it said the back for the b and c are the same rate but the fronts are not the b is progressive and the c is specific .they show a pic but you cant see the tag or numbers

The guy told me I was getting c springs but he had three sets.He said 2 sets were c 1 was b i just hope he gave me the right ones thats why im asking the experts on stangnet.

I think are springs are identical. Mine being a year or two older than yours (mine are used also)

So what factory Ford's did the C and B springs originally come from?

I tried those numbers in the parts software but they didn't come up as good numbers. When the system is done updating I'll try again later.

i dont think they actually came from any factory cars...

i thought they were just part of FRPP's performance parts catalog


i put the B's on mine and they are nice...supposed to ride better than the C's

yup looks like he give me the b springs oh well i guess i just run them. dude was realy being a smart ass thinking he knows it all. he bout lit my short fuse.

Ya you got B springs. For some dumb reason I was thinking OEM springs when I was trying to find the numbers.

Well i just called the guy he said sorry and he well have me a new set in the box wensday!!!!!!!! Hells yea

They are, but they also carry factory Ford engineering part numbers. Those numbers suggest a part first engineered for 1985.

I always heard they were factory springs off a fairmont or Lincoln.

Time to do some googling

well guys i finily got the c springs in I think im gonna like them they seem to ride smoother than the stock 4cyl springs .The only thing I didnt like is it still sets up allitle in the back right corner oh well I guess thats the fox body lean everybody talks about.
