I have been trying to get this damn thing to work all weekend! I ordered the 9117 Adapter and I am trying to make a 2 1/16" Tach w/ built in shift light to work. I have wired the receiving wire to the C6 slot on the wiring box in the one thats got the neon green cover. I ran the negative to the battery and the positive to it as well. The grey wire is hooked to the green one from the tach itself but all it does is flicker the shift light on and off. The digital RPM screen displays haywire signal and cuts off after a few seconds. I have tuned the tach to .5 since the signal wire to the panel is only sending a readout like that of a 4 banger. I am lost! HELP!
