Ok, I tried to look for the thread that had the id numbers for the rear axles. I couldn't find it. However, if I remember correctly if it said M under axle then I have 3.27's. Which I'm pretty sure I have. But mine says ME under axle. Does the E stand for anything or did someone at Ford get typing happy?

A second letter on the axle code stands for traction-lock.
