Progress Thread My centrifugal ppl, how’s this deal?

Well well well it’s been a long time coming, as you guys know I picked up some Recaro stuff @ 40 bucks for the lot. They were not in best condition at least the 2 LSC weren’t but frame wise were intact. The one LSB was actually in decent shape… sort of. Swapped from my original porno red seats which imo is the best!! Went all black seats with the s550 front seats and had the rears matched with according rear upholstery. Was nice but just got dull and over the all black seats. then found the Recaro stuff searched for fabric that I finally liked through relicate. Been a year since the upholstery guy had them. He knocked out my visions fairly well. Still hasn’t finished my rear seats to match them yet :cautious: but I’m really if digging the look and the fact that it matches up with the interior. Was really missing my red seats and this just makes everything pop. Its retro as hell and goes with the car. Some will love it others gonna hate it but I love it and it’s all about making a statement with your car. Can’t wait to see it all together with the rears in!!! Now I got to put the side covers on and the turn knobs.

Looks awesome man! That’s how red interiors should be done!!
How’s the car running?
Thanks man appreciate that! Car is running but still so unreliable that I don’t enjoy driving it like I should. I’m taking it to a shop to see if they can diagnose it. I still haven’t installed my pro-m so I want to figure it out now as it sits bc it runs it just does some weird stuff. So I’ve told this person what it’s doing and when and I’ll see what they can figure out with the stock ecu and chip and go from there. Something is making this car un-enjoyable and I’m over it.

You can usually cut a small slit to open it up install it. Maybe they still have the trim? Otherwise you can easily find those are they are standard parts

I think these are the same. Would need to check against mine.

The levers are also on eBay, but I think you are shipping from england.

Sucks but looks like you’ll pay $100-150 for a new set.

Yikes I’m gonna have to ask him and see. Not sure why they left those off. If nothing then I’ll get a discount on my rear seats, and just buy some of these.

Ok back seats are basically done!! Think they came out nice, will be in the back just for looks as I’ll never have anyone back there. Im liking what he did, but I’m torn between whether I want to keep them as is or have the fabric extend to that one last panel that would be under the knee area in vinyl redone in fabric? I’m torn bc I like how it is but I also think it would look good if it was fabric up to that edge. Am I being picky? Idk just trying to make the decision before I go out to the shop and get them. I’m just kinda done with this shop, he left those release triggers off the front seats, he didn’t put the seat belt loops back in currently, has another pair of my headrests that he seems to not know where they are. Maybe I should just call it day?

I'd leave them as they are as I think they look great, I think it would look strange if you had the fabric extended, and then you'd have to spend more time dealing with a shop you clearly don't want to deal with anymore. Get the seats, get all your other stuff back, and be done.
