I have been washing and waxing cars for 20+ years. I have tried it all but can you belive I never used Mother's Back to Black? Well, until today. That stuff is great. It really works! The black plastic exterior pieces look fantastic...not fake like with other products.

I use it on all my trim, great product. (I tried it on the trucks at work first 'cause I was scared , now the boss wants me to buy a few bottles for the shop..... only if he gives my the company card )

My brother uses it on his bumper (2000 Taurus) and said it makes alot of the scratches alot less visible.

Would it work on faded trim on the outside that's not even close to black anymore?

When I first bought my car, the side mirrors were all light gray, and oxidized over time. Well I noticed that when I washed my car, they turned completely black when they're wet, so I decided to see if a little Back to Black would do the job. Well there you have it...saves me from having to remove the mirrors to repaint them. The product adds a nice waxy shine that lasts forever too.
