that's for whole shabang

the motor is not that much, but the forged stroker internals, oil pan/windage tray, chasis stuff, drag racing only wheels/tires, body stuff, vct stuff, cams, tranny, coolers, falcon intake if i go with a supercharger, and supercharger. the only reason i am spending this kind of coinage is i need a hobby. i am willing to spend 20,000 then i will stop.

i really don't think a terminator can compete when finished. i realize there is always someone faster. i am just seeing how fast a 5.4 3v can go. i came REAL REAL close to trying it with a 4.6. but as anyone that has noticed my posts will recognize, the LS crappy junkers can beat anything a 4.6 can do. just look at GTS class C6r's. 7 litres rules until that last race. it is way too hard to compete with cubes if they can spend to turn the same rpm's. i hope i don't regret turning down the 4v 5.4. i guess i can get some heads if i need to. i just like the different road that 3v takes. supercharging 5.4 yields at least 500 lb-ft with varying HP. the price of a 5.0 cammer is around $15,000.00. that is way too much.

i spent all the money i earned when i was young the last time i built myself a few mustangs. i even went without eating to get that next part. thenk god i lived through it. now i am 40 and i can enjoy doing this without any limits. i just can't but a car. it has to be my creation. this current setup just didn't do it. i tore up a 1986 monte carlo with 350, headers, 292 cam. so what, it just didn't cut it. to feel bad to the bone. "you got to have the green to be mean".

Good luck on your project. I just wish my project only cost me $20K.

good luck with that project. How are you going to use a Falcon intake, when the Falcon has a non-S/C Boss 290 4V and you'll have a 5.4 3V supercharged? Will you get a centrifugal S/C or what? I'd like to see pics as the project moves on. Do you have a pic of the Falcon intake?
