I read that the GT badges on the side of the car have "pins" in the back that go into holes in the body. It is the same for the GT badge on the trunk, and for the blue oval on the trunk?

Thanks.

Yup. Holes everywhere.

(actually I've only changed the sides and the oval, not the GT, but I think it has holes...)

If you're replacing them with new badges (like 281ci) then just put it over the holes. If you're going badgeless, bondo up the holes very carefully and use touchup paint.

The GT and the Ford symbols on the back don't have the holes, only the side GT symbols have holes behind them.

sorry, but youre only half correct. the GT badge does not have holes, but the oval ford badge does. i removed my rear badges and the ford holes are starting to piss me off. i put some silicone in it so water doesnt leak in, but people ask me if my badge got stolen. sorry to hijack, but what do you guys think would be a cool badge to put where the ford badge was?

How about one of those GTR badges from Pep Boys?

j/k. You might try one of those "281" badges that some of the people on here have.

Thats what I did with mine. I got 3 GT emblems from www.muskatracing.com They make carbon fiber and aluminum emblems. I replaced my 3 GT's and put a 281 over the Ford holes. They also make an insert for that crome peice the surrounds the blue oval part of the ford emblem. check 'em out.

The Steeda oval doesn't have the pegs, but covers the holes PERFECTLY!
