weird, or weird-to-me, problem. went out tonight to start stang, no go. just get the dead-battery click. charged battery, wasnt really that low though. take charger off, get in car, lights come on, all looks good. turn key, big click, everything goes out, lights and all. nothing works again. no more clicks. charge it, repeat this process.

do i just have an entirely dead battery, or is this something more sinister?

Take the alternator off and have it tested, I had the same issue last month, new alternator fixed it.
hope you get it working soon.

I thought that mine was bad connections also and I even replaced both cables and the battery before i went out and replaced the alternator. That is why i said to have the Alt tested to rule it out or replace it now. testing at AZ is free, so it is not a loss to un bolt it and try.

Most definitely a bad connection at the battery or solenoid.
