If I just have a belt on the crank water pump and alt, is something running backwards? I would think it would be the water pump this is how the car was when I bought it will it here anything?

Have a picture of the belt routing? Its possible to spin the water pump backwards if you route it wrong. Is it overheating?

Its not over heating or running a little hot I have the alt off right now but this is how it looks when its all put together

Depends if you have a standard or reverse rotation pump

That would be correct for a standard rotation water pump.

Where is your belt tensioner? Some people flip the tensioner to get it to work instead of purchasing a forward rotation WP.

Considering is has a groved pulley and don't run hot I'm going to leave it be, thanks for the info on the tensioner I'm gonna buy one and give it a shot
