The JLT composite cold Air intakes seem to be the most popular....but they're about $230

...but to be quite honest, if functionality is all you're after, a large volume open element filter with a home made heat shield on the end of your stock MAF/Tube will more than suport the airflow needs of an MP112.

Thanks, was considering JLT or C&L.

I was doing some supercharger research and stumbled upon the kenne bell cool air kit. They certainly make a case for the fender well placement. Check their web site for more info. They just don't tell you that the intercooler lines need rerouting initially. The JLT is a beautiful kit, but it doesn't allow for a strut tower brace. That is a deal breaker for me. Best of luck.

I preferred the K&N FIPK solely because it was a strait through design and was C.A.R.B. certified, which none of the other CAI's listed thus far are.

There is no advantage to a "cold air kit" over the stock setup with a high flow air filter. The stock system takes air from the fenderwell just like the cold air intakes. The major restriction in airflow is the filter itself, so spend $35 on a K&N filter and be done with thinking about the air intake. Concentrate more on getting that power to the ground. You can spin the wheels with 400hp just as easily as with 1,000 hp.
