I have had lots of dirrerent brand hoods on a couple of my mustangs. Last night I ordered another harwood hood I think they look better than the cervini's hood. Just my opinion. The last hood I got was a hood from 5.0 resto ( latemodel restoration ) it was about a half inch too short when you got the hood lined up with the bumper in front it left a half inch gap at the back. But the cervini hood I had on my 88 fit good.
I'll throw in another vote for Keanan hoods, because they're a small business and do a better job than most of the bigger guys. I used to work at a shop that sold them and never had one complaint in the four years I worked there. Hell, their Cobra R hood was better looking than the ones we got from Ford Racing--no joke.
Keanan manufactures Steeda's hoods, but like a lot of the stuff Steeda sells--they get passed off as a Steeda brand part. How can you tell for sure? Keanan imprints their logo on the underside of their hoods.
Does anyone know if someone in Northern California sells Keanan hoods? Or how to find out? I think there is a number on their unfinished website. Maybe I'll just call.
I was wondering about those hoods...my brother is good friends with Greg (the guy who owns/manages MPS) and I was thinking about picking one of those up at the Moultrie swap meet this weekend
