Anybody have dyno's or have seen dyno's of what the best performing exhaust is? Mainly what catback/muffler is the best performing?

I've seen a couple articles claiming the SLP Loudmouth makes the most power period but I got it more for the sound than anything.

I like Pro3 and all I got was this crappy CT.

this is way I looked at when I got cat back for my car.

I could get, say 5RWHP out of SLP, but too loud, and expensiv.

or

I can get 3 RWHP out of Magnaflow, but has very pleasing sound, just as high quality as SLP, and much cheaper(well, back then)

over year later, I'm still happy with dicision to get magnaflow

I had the SLP on my GT for about 4 months. Good power but obnoxiously loud with an offroad x pipe. Went with dynomax and completely love it!!

I've heard some Dynomax mufflers are the best performing and right after them are the Borla XS mufflers anybody know if there is any truth to this?

I paid $330 for my Magnapacks and I thought it wasn't too bad. So I would say no.

I think you should make the decision on SOUND and not POWER. About 95% of the people on here chose their catbacks based on sound and not power. On the 2V's, a catback gives very minimal gains anyways and the difference in the catbacks from Magnaflow to Flowmaster to Bassani is probably ~5 rwhp at the most. So, go to www.mustangexhaust.com and find the sound you like

I have had flowmasters, Spintec, Dynomax, and magnaflows on my stangs. The one that i like the best is the magnaflows. They sound great and arent to loud until i stomp on the gas.

I agree 100% I bought my setup because this is the sound that I like. Just wondering if anybody on here had or has seen an exhaust comparison. I think a saw one awhile back that they did on a 4.6 GT in 5.0 mustang and some dynomax mufflers put out the best results then the Borla XS mufflers were right behind it. Just wondering if anybody else has seen this or any other comparisions.

I have the SLP catback. I don't think its loud.. From the outside it sound pretty sweet.. on the inside it isn't that loud.. I am very happy with it.. I'm sure once I get my H pipe w/out cats it will be loud as heck, but I'm sure there will be a nice gain..
