I would get, and I did, Eibach Pro springs for a 1.5" drop. This question gets asked every week, I would do a search and you will get a lot of info, including if cc plates are required, problems with 2" drop, pictures of both, etc.

It depends on what your going for. I wanted a slightly lowered look, and a decent ride. So I went Eibach Pro's. However I now find myself been drawn towards autox again and the progressive springs really aren't the best for that.
Another thing to keep in mind before you put your springs on is check and see if you can get an alignment where you live. Some on here have been having a problem with that lately.

yeah but don't listen to him! he's from Jersey!

I like my Steeda Sports...dropped about 1.5" and not too harsh of a ride. Just shop around....many good products to choose from.

COILOVERS...best of both worlds, smooth ride and corners like hell, not to mention you save weight, and can lower or lift your car as much as you want.

My advice is to look for what you like, all springs are going to drop a certain amount, but have different rates of travel.

and you can use harder spring rates, but it gets pricy

Yes. You can also get 79-93 shocks/struts, will get a drop off that too. I think it's a half inch. And the last straw... removing the isolators.

I would recommend Eibach Pro Kit. Drops it about 1.5". I'm very happy with the ride quality. Here's a link with some pics of my 03 with the Pro Kit installed.
