Royal Purple Syncromax without a doubt is the best we've used. Red Line D4xxx (can't remember exact name) is good too.

You'll need to buy 4 qts. Fill volume is just over 3qts.

They dont really go by weight, I used GM syncromesh. Its what Steeda recommended. 3.3 qt in the T45.

www.mustangworld.com has a pretty good write-up on alot of 'do it yourself' things like changing the oil, brakes, exhaust, etc.

Since there are few other sites with as much tech as we have, you'd think everyone would look there first by default. For the lazy amongst you, here:

I am interestested in trying to smooth out my shifts as well, especially after driving my cousins M3 the past week and then going back to the mustang. So most people have seen positive effects from Royal Purple Synchromax? Does changing do anything to the warranty?

I'd use the Royal Purple Max ATF for a TR-3650. Tremec recommends not to use syncrhomax type stuff in the 3650s.

You can find the PDF file of this at just about every active Mustang forum.

Tremec doens't recommend a lot of things that actually fix their problems. The TTC band-aids and retarded recommendations don't help anything.
