Put a few light coats of the spray tint on and TAKE YOUR TIME. Continue until the darkness you would like, remember that it will dry darker than it looks when its wet. When you are done put a couple coats of clear coat on top to get them to shine like your body paint.

I LOVE THAT STUFF, GTS Covers look to big and bulky and their rear tail light covers for us are hideous

Nope, just do light coats and let em dry for a couple minutes in between. I paid about $5-10 for my can.

How does it affect the visibilty of your lights at night? I was thinking about doing that to my car.

Who cares its your tailights?! They just wont know how bad you beat em! j/k

It really depends on you. Mine are the same visibility as GTS headlight/taillight covers would give. They are not as bright but you can still see me. Some punk a$$ cops b*tch about it when they pull me over, but i always say the car came like that and i didn't know. They say "you tail lights should be visible from 500ft or yards, i cant remember which one, away and your car failed to fulfill that requirement".

If you are worried about it, only do 1 or 2 coats to give it a real black tint instead of actually being BLACK like mine are. A buddy did his with 2 coats or so and it is still a red tail light with a light tint of black....at night his are just as bright as they were before he tinted em.

Go for it

Hey nmcgrawj: isn't it called "Night Shade" i thought that's what u and others said a while and maybe just said the wrong word. if not, my bad

btw, it's probably 500ft. 500yrs is like 3/4 mile or something. Also in CA it's illegal to have anything other than red tails (at least that's what it says on the CHP site)

Really? Are GTS Light covers illegal too? You could just do a very light coat for somewhat of a tint....you dont have to make em as dark as mine.
