Hey guys...my blend door for the ac/heater's stuck...any of you experience this? If so how easy of a fix was it? Thanks...I'm not looking forward to this.

Sometimes it's the cable itself that gets stuck or seized. Try moving it back and forth right at the door or maybe taking it off the door to loosen it up???

Is it blowing through the defrost vents only no matter what setting it is on? If so, vacuum line under the hood is off. On the driver side on the firewall there is a T, check there.

Went out and looked and what do you know...That vacuum line got brittle and broke off at the back of the manifold..It's about 2 AM here so I think I'll save it for tomorrow. Thanks for the tip, you saved me a TON of work.

Resurrection!!!
I'm trying to diagnose my own lack of heat - does this vacuum line also apply to my 88? And it attaches to the tree?
Where does it go to from the tree?
Thanks!

The foxes should be a similar setup, but I don't know which line or where it is. Check em all and see what you got.

Looks like I got late to this thread. Before I even opened it I knew it was going to be the vacuum line. Good Job pace. Many people don't know that the blend door is ran off of a vacuum.
