Any difference on a Cobra Block from the 2V? I have a lead on a bare 03 Cobra block for a good price.

I guess what I want to know is, will my 2V 5.4 head work on it?

Part number on the block is: XW7E 6015 AA

From my research it is a 4.6 block that could be either a 2v or 4v application. Am I wrong? I am supposed to go pick this up tomorrow.

As long as it is not a Continental (FWD 4.6) block it will be fine. I believe it is just in the casting webbing and the way the mounts are show the difference. Any 4.6 block will work. Or any 5.4 block if that is what you are going to run. I may be letting the LimeARita's do some of the talking tonight though.

Yeah, just remember the differences is that the only difference between the 4.6 heads and 5.4 heads is actually nothing. It's all in the block. The longer stroke of the 5.4 block gives it the extra displacement.

Cool. That's what I thought. I am going to get the block, 4.6 crank, rods and pistons with the heads that I have.
