I have a 1990 LX hatch with a 5.0 and 5-speed. Its is N/A, my mods are in my sig. but I'm wondering if it's possible to put a blow off valve on a N/A car. I know the purpose of one on a turbo/supercharged engine, but can it be done on a car without one? Just so when I hit that RPM or shift it comes on?
im not sure if someone said it, but personally, Id rather have a turbo car without the bov sound, and def not an n/a car with the turbo sound. granted, it is cool, but the bov is the first thing to give away a turbo car. You dont hear the spooling till its too late.

Idk I guess it depends...if your going for a sleeper then you def dont want a bov but if you dont mind showin off then I saw go for it! I saw/heard a gn with a loud ass bov and it diddnt sound gay at all lol
I have a WRX and since it's turbo'ed i have the vrooom ptssss... sound and it gets annoying .. thats why i want a nice solid muscle sound with a 5.0 ... dont degrade your 5.0 with a BOV.
