Why not the stage 2? Is there an advantage of staying with the stage 1? I already have my pistions cut.

i went with stage 1 because my pistons are not notched and i didnt want to deal with swapping the springs.

See, my pistons are already notched but I really want to avoid the valve springs

In that case, you might could run the Stage 1s on an ICL a few degrees advanced from what you would have to on stock pistons, and pick up some horsepower that way vs. the Stage 2s. I'd talk to Nick at MHS about it; he'll set you straight. I do know that the "Stage 1s" are fairly decent size cams and will probably be the best choice for an all-around street car.
