I believe there are many people familiar with body work. I am just looking for some tips to make these classic last as long as possible. Especially about

- metal preparation - how to make welds, if watertight welds are needed when replacing e.g. floor panels, how to deal with partialy rusty swiss cheese-like sheet metal when it is preservable (little holes less than 1/8" in diameter)
- what fillers to apply and what types (regular polyester, alloy, fiberglass, etc), which brands are OK and which are not
- what it is best to use to waterseal welds, various little rust, etc
- what type of paint it is best to use (acryl, urtethane, or any other?) with what primers, which types cannot be combined
