Not sure how many of you have seen the Dream Car Muscle Car Shootout on the Speed channel, but I thought I'd let it be known that the Boss 9 edges out the LS6 for the win. 5.03 0-60 mph and 13.74 (or around there) on 1/4 mile.

I think the show co-host/driver said it best after finishing the 1/4 mi. run in the Boss: "All those that say the Boss 9 doesn't run, horse *****."

Just thought I'd share this.

Bunch of boats...I want a small block comparo...

I caught the tail end of it, with the handling, 1/2 mile and burnout comparisons. My favorite car was the AMC, but they got a 390 car, not a 401. Why not get a 396 chevelle and put it up against the boss 9, eh? what the f?

the 401 still would've got smoked against the rest. Personally i'm not a fan of AMC i think they are garbage. It would've been a great battle between the hemi, SCJ, and LS6

I agree the 401 would've still lost, but my question still stands. Why was the only car that wasn't the baddest of its brand the AMC?

Very true. I also wish they had gotten an LS6 with a manual and better gearing.
