hey guys... i could really use some help... we are trying to get my car started and have been back and fourth and have narrowed it down to a fuel problem. I have a custom chip programed for a ba2400 maf and 60# injectors... everything seems to be working properly except i dont think the injectors are actually firing.
the car cranks. It has spark. and the fuel pump is working. we get fuel up to the injectors. we pulled a few plugs out and they seemed dry. Tried spraying starter fluid in the throttle body and it wanted to turn and start (sputtered a lil) and then it back fired. never fully started.
After doing some research it seems alot of people refer to bad grounds. I know we do NOT have the lil wire from the negative battery terminal, to the fender installed... if i recall when i pulled the motor the ground from the back of the block to the firewall ripped out, and i dont think we installed this... are there any other grounds. Someone mentioned a ground from the back of the fuel rail to the back of one of the heads. Is there a ground back there? and would all of these grounds prevent the injectors from firing???
