My brake lights are stuck on. At this rate my battery will be dead in a few hours.
I unhooked the connecter on what I thought was the switch, but they are still on.. Any ideas?
(And no, my foot isn't on the pedal! )

It's probably the switch itself by the brake pedal. Either that or there is a wiring problem somewhere.
All i can suggest is to take the brake switch out and see if it works or not. (using an ohm meter)

Oh and i believe its set up so that if the wire is pulled off the switch (like you disconnecting it) the light will stay on anyway. So more than likely its the switch.

Thanks for your response, I would have thought it was the switch right away, but when they stayed on after I unhooked it tossed me for a loop.. I am now trying to find a ford dealer around here that actually has my part in stock.. THey never seem to
