brighter headlights wanted for 68 fastback

I just purchased a 1968 fastback J code. It is in great shape, but the headlights are very dim. I just ordered LED's for the rear lights, but don't know whats on the market in regards to headlights and fogs. What do you all recommend for a headlight and fog light upgrade so I can have brighter lights. Thanks in advance for you responses.

Sylvania silverstars work good. It might be your wiring harness causing the dimness though.

Yes, relays are very helpful. I went with Xenon headlamps like these:

I replaced the lamp switch, which houses a circuit breaker in my '66, and then installed them (did not use relays). Much brighter beams. Would be still brighter with relays and full power to the lamps.

You can upgrade the 66 switch to a 68. 14 amp breaker to a 22. Just have to cut off the old switches spacer and JB weld it to the new switch.
