Dude i think you have to buy a whole new top because that glass has to be pressed into the top itself. My buddy owns a local upholstery shop and thats what he told me when i asked if i could purchase the glass and top seperately and have them delivered

Wrong, the top is separate. The rear glass is $180.00.

well, it is true that it can be installed separately, but it's not the greatest idea because of sealing issues. I mean, if i was in your place i would definitely just buy the glass and have it installed w/ the top that's on there, but that's not the BEST (most expensive) way of doing it. you might not find a whole lotta shops willing to do this for you though

the shop that was going to do my hole top and glass quoted my 900 for everything and labor, and it was 300 for the glass....i'll install anything on my car myself, but i'd never attempt to do my convertible top myself

The glass is built into part of the top, which is seperate from the main piece of the top. The place that did my top said they had to take the whole top off to install that glass part.

When the seal between the glass and the vinyl came unglued, I bought a New rear glass which has black material all around it already.

They unzip the old rear glass (with the fabric on it) and replace it with the entire new unit.

There is NO way to get JUST rear glass, it comes pre attached to the vinyl fabric that you zip into the top of the rear section.

It really isn't hard. My dads friend installed mine, he charged me $150 labor.

True, I wish I had a photo to show the others.

Here is the pic.

They have to remove the back section of the top in order to "tuck" the skirt of the rear glass panel under, then they button it back up. They don't remove the entire top.
