Hi all,

I have a question concerning upgrading the exhaust on my 2010 v6. I'm currently full time at college going back to get my degree, as well as in the Marine corps, so i don't have a lot of time and money to dedicate to my car right now, and it's mostly for looks and the ride, not speed.

Whats the advantages to better exhaust? It all looks like 2.5" stainless steel to me? Would it be advantageous for me to spend $300 on a "speed daddy" dual exhaust, H pipe kit off ebay like THIS HERE?

Rather then dropping $500+ just for exhaust then you throw in the rear valence? Like I said I'd like a little better performance, fuller sound, but mostly the dual look. Will the ones off ebay do just fine? Thanks all

-Josh

True, but I was just looking at it from the perspective that if in the end I get an SS H pipe, and the right length and style 2.5" pipes, I could improve the sound of my car right there and add my own axleback later?

One thing I've noticed people do on a budget was have a shop make their own pipes. How much would that cost, and would you trust a local shop to do a good job?

What sound are you looking for? If you are looking for the GT sound the 4.0 will not match it. You are best off listening to other 4.0 sound clips because different mufflers and midpipes all sound a little different. Some will drone, rasp, or tin canny. You can find aftermarket kits for a true dual conversion but I'd stick with a GT takeoff as the measurements will be a little more exact. How much do you want to spend? To look right you will need a quality take off dual pipes and a rear facia as you know.
i've never done it but I'm estimating no less than $600.00.
