C4 or T5

I got a shot at a nice stock C4 for about $250 bucks. Only problem is i already have a T5 that i was going to use. Question is should i go ahead with the T5 and all the mnods that go with putting it in or the C4 for a decent price? I have 3.80 gears already installed and i am about to build a decent ho motor. what would it take for the c4 just bolt it in or do i need to change some things. also would a c4 keep from going down the highway with 3.80 gears?

well thats what i was wondering. For the price ithought maybe the C4 would be a better deal. guess was getting a little lazy about the T5 swap.
