i just changed out converters (whent to a 4700 stall ) in my c4, now after a hard accell it smokes like crazy,thought it was my moter but it smell like tranny fluid hand the hotter the trany gets the worse it gets. i know that i need a better cooler the temp is getting around 240*-260* ,where is the most likely place be for a leak, i got under the car ind its not to oily under there anywhere.

back seal... where the drive shaft slips in. My T5 leaked there.

How much fluid did you put in it? It is possible it is blowing fluid out of the vent.
