Hello,

I have a dragrace car that runs 10 low (a track in Holland). The car has the following specification:

- mustang ‘67
- weight with driver 3550 pond
- enigne 514 ci about 900 hp
- camshaft (8000 rpm – redline 8500)
- gears 3.91
- tire 26 inch.
- 60 foot time 1.47 (without transbreak)

The Transmission is a C6. I want to rebuild this transmission for dragracing with above said specification.

I have already:
- a transbreak
- a torque converter from TCI (Ultimate StreetFighter)

Can somebody tell me what parts i must get that can handle the power!!!

Greetings,

Freek (from Holland)

There is some good info here. C6 trans build for transbrake or manual valvebody - 460 Ford Forum There is more on that site for C6 info. I may end up building one myself when my C4 starts giving me trouble.

Look at Broader Performance too. Broader Performance Home Page He has a great reputation for customer service as well as a lot of respect for his tough transmissions.

Hoi Freek. I too am in the NL with a C6 behind my mustang. I got a 500 hp kit from broaderperformance.com and can recommend them.
