..leaving tomorrow between 0 dark thirty and sunrise.

Routing is via Roanoke,Nashville, Little Rock, Dallas and Scottsdale where we will take in Barrett Jackson for a bit. Then on to Palm Desert CA.

Weather looks fair to good.

This will be our 6th cross country since 2004. 3 done in a Boxster S, 2 in a G35 and now the Bullitt. I'm 68 and the wife is 63.

I'll update daily if possible.

That's awesome. One round trip in my mustang was enough for me. Maybe because I was the only one driving but at least I had my dog with me.

California is fun! I went in the Mach 2 years ago. Talk about a nice drive, Utah has some nice passages. Did it in the summer though and this is what you get through Nebraska...

We made Dallas today...1400 miles in 2 days.

I was looking forward to taking a pic from the welcome center in Texarkana that features a large steel sculpture map of TX.....BUT the welcome center was closed due to road construction. The best laid plans.....

Tomorrow maybe El Paso.

One reason you can eat up the miles are these type of posted limits.

Went to Barrett Jackson yesterday...

...also visited Frank Lloyd Wright's Talieson.

We'll be in Palm Desert later today.
