If your car is stock, you may as well stick to the factory Motorcraft plugs or go with the copper plugs in the same heat range AWSF-32C

Currently I'm using NGK Iridium IX plugs (TR55IX). I've always heard they were good and I like them so far.

It is generally agreed that Iridiums are a waste of money to install in Mustangs...

They cost the same as the motorcraft so unless they are worse they can't be a waste of money.

Really! The Motorcrafts are around $2-3 each and I thought Iridiums were closer to $7-8 each... Am I mistaken?

I bought mine in town and both ran right about 4.99 each. Maybe online the motorcrafts are cheaper or something.

the majority will say use regular coppers. however when I used coppers, I don't get as good gas mileage as with platinums. so for me i prefer platinums.

Did you change anything other than your plugs? Because last time i checked plats had a weaker spark so i cant imagine getting better gas milage? But i could be wrong.
I had NGK's on my 94 and they ran great.
