Hello all,
Been a while since I posted.
My drivers door is sagging on the 78 KC. I know the bushings are shot.
Can they be replaced? It looks like they can't be.
DO i need to replace the hinges?
Thank You for the help.

you can replace the bushings, but you'll need to pull the hinge out of coure do to it.
That's the tricky part.... Take your inner fenders out (plastic) to get access to the hinges and you should be able to easily remove em, and wiggle em out, and then you'll be able to refit new bushings on the table easy enough. Most parts stores will have the hinge rebuilder kit (bushings and pins) My dad did this a few years back on his cobra and my older brothers Ghia with no problems.

Not to second guess you but have you tried to just adjust the door first? This solved my problems...

Also, Ford charges an arm & a leg for door parts...

Nothing like that "kachunk" sound of a well aligned door closing with a lazy push...

you can check the condition of the bushings on all cars so far with my experience by opening the door grabbing it at the bottom and lifting up, if it moves your bushings are bad, bad door alignment will just be noticed by looking at the profile of the car. I'm not saying that bad door alignment couldn't/wouldn't cause door sag, but the number one cause of door sag in my experience has been the worn out bushings

BTW, I'm pretty sure you can pick up the parts at AutoZone and the like.
