just for future reference guys, the arp shaft IS longer. It's not much, but it IS longer. It states also in the insructions to cut it down to size.
The ford racing shaft is the EXACT same size you need...that's why I run those.
the arp shaft "may" work, but the additional length could put unwanted pressure on everything when it's all bolted together.
