I'm in the middle of restoring my interior and can't seem to get the dome/interior lights to turn off. All doors closed, switches on drivers and passengers doors checked and working the lights remain on. Is there a similar switch for the rear hatch? This is on a 92 lx

I see its a 92. Ford ommitted these in 91 I believe. Heres an external thread detailing some of it that may help you

Good info but no luck. I unplugged the the hatch actuator and it doesn't seem to change a thing. Any grounds that might cause this?

Thanks for all the suggestions it ended up being the passenger door jam switch. I replaced the door hinge bushings and I guess it moved the door enough to not allow the switch to fully depress when the door is closed.

Got another question: what's the bulb size/part number for the glove compartment light? I don't have the old one to match up

Sylvania's website says 194. That is a common dash and marker light. A push in base IIRC. It also popped up about an LED in a dealer circuit warning.
