I was looking back at a 02 car and driver (in the back) and they have the gt at 6.3 0-60 and a acura rsx at 6.3 and a maxima at 6.0. How can this be? It must have been an auto vert gt, with a fatty driving????

I think motor trend is even worse then car and driver, they always get slower times. Motor trend had the Ford GT at 0-60 at 3.6 and car and driver was 3.3 I think car and driver seems to be better than motor trend. motor trend is consistantly slower. All the times i have seen on new GT's is 0-60 in 5.4

I remember the article, it was a 2002 GT AUTO as well as the additonal weight of the mach 1000 sound system.

Sometimes you wonder what dirt track they're at or if they are leaving the parking break on.

i remember one of those mags had an article on the bullitt times. they got 0-60 of about 5.6 and then went on to say that it didnt do quite as well as the previously tested gt. but the gt had more miles on it when they tested it and was broken in. anyone remember that artical probibly back when the bullitt first came out. those were good times. if you go to motortread website they have a section dating back on 0-60 times and performance of all cars
