Anyone know who makes a carbon fiber hood for '87-'93?
Seen one years ago and all of my searches don't cover these years.
Thanks,
Jeff

well what if it was a mach1 hood or a 2 inch cowl and was just carbon fiber? it'd be spendy but itd be light too.

i don't believe all carbon fiber stuff is checkered, is it? might be all black or something. i believe it all depends on what resin they use.

Hey guys, dont hate me, but i would sport one without any hesitation. U know my car looks unique, and I believe a nice carbon fiber hood would set it off nicely.

If you're buying it for weight, make sure you ask before you buy it 'how much does it weigh?'

I've seen a lot of 'carbon fiber' hoods that were actually cheap fiberglass with a layer of carbon cloth on top under a gel coat so it looks like carbon fiber. These things weighed a ton!

Buyer beware!
