just wanted to share my fun experience with you all about seafoam,i did my stang last week and it made a big difference in performance so last night i did my cougar with the exact same engine and it fouled the #6 plug very bad,i drove it around for about 10 miles before deciding that it wasnt going to clean itself out so i drove home and put some new plugs in and its fine now, just wanted to say seafoam is wonderful but keep in mind its possible you may need to do a plug change so do it when you have extra time and money.

Are you saying that it possibly loosened up too much build-up? If it did and that build up attached to the plug and burned, I could certainly see it foul the plug.
