Sorry, but i have seen, In Person, a GT-40 and Ford GT, Side-by-Side 4 times so i can tell the difference between the 2 cars very easily :Zip2:
Ford GT is 44 inches tall.
Ford GT40 is 40 inches tall.

GT = 43" tall
Thats only three inches, how can you tell three inches from that pic???
Now, look at the rearview mirrors... thats a GT-40.
You must not know very much about the Ford GT or GT40 Because The GT40 Never Came with Sideview Mirrors
Sideview mirrors would have ruined the aerodynamics for Le Mans

I can tell the Difference Between a GT-40 and a GT.... there are BIG differences and 4 inches in height is VERY noticeable. If you have seen at GT40 and a GT next to each other you will get a better understanding of the Differences (Most people on here have never seen the 2 cars next to each other so i dont expect them to understand)
A 4 inch height difference is BIG.. thats like lowering a Mustang 4 inches and then saying "I dont know if you can tell the Difference Between The lowered car and a Stock Car"

You sorta contradict yourself SRT, because if you had already known that a GT40 did not have side view mirrors like you claim you do, you would have stated that in your FIRST post with something like:
"That car is WAY too tall to be a GT40, plus it has side view mirrors which the GT-40 never had. In that case, it HAS to be a Ford GT."
Then we would believe that you are as knowledgable as you claim you are, but as it is all you prove is that you can google something.

FIVE times i saw them.....not apart, but next to each other. Not close, but NEXT to each other. ALMOST touching mirrors but they couldn't because the GT-40 didn't have any, but if it did, they would touch. 5 times.
