ouch....Lakers were down by 24 in the 3rd, rallied to make it a 4 point game with 38 seconds in the 4th quarter, and then lost it by 6. Celtics up 2-0 in the Finals. now this could still favor the Lakers, because the Celtics have only won 1 playoff game on the road this year, so I wouldn't bank on this series being over yet, but the Lakers had better get it together and quickly.

Well, even if the Lakers win all 3 home games they have they won't win if they get more ****ty calls/non-calls like they did tonight. Tonight was PATHETIC from the refs, I mean wtf!! What was the final free throw differential, 29-4?

I think the Lakers will take all 3 games in LA, then come back and win the next one since Boston would be "on the ropes."

I still want the Lakers to win, even though I like everything Boston lol

well lakers took game 3 in LA. this could be a pretty good Finals, if the Lakers can get back with it.

I cant either

I'm not a huge basketball fan - heck i just started getting into the sport in the past 2 months. (way less boring then baseball for me)

I'd like to see the celtics win it. After last nights epic collapse from the Lakers at home - i think the Celtics have the upper hand right now

it's over barring a miracle. the Lakers had a brilliant first half last night, then pulled the biggest flop in NBA Playoff history by allowing the Celtics to come back from 24 points down.

The Lakers played a piss poor 2nd half, showed no effort whatsoever, sloppy ball handling, poor execution and game scheme, they played uninspired basketball, showed no heart, and we're just standing still and not moving around getting guys open to make shots. purely ****ing pathetic half assed effort. The Finals will be over when this series heads back to Boston.

That was a pathetic second half for the Lakers.. after they blew their 24-point lead, I was thinking they didn't deserve to win.. and they didn't.

I don't know why I did a 180 before the finals.. The Celtics were my 2nd favorite team (Cavs are my favorite) and I had been pulling for them to make the finals and win it, but when they got there I started pulling for the Lakers.. not sure exactly why I did that one

beat down is an understatement....this is just an old fashioned ass kicking.

well I'm happy for Paul Pierce at least...good old KU Jayhawk Basketball player from way back, and I'm a big KU Fan, so good for Paul Pierce he finally gets a World Championship after 10 years of hard work.

If I was Phil Jackson tomorrow I would be making a statement by releasing Farmar, Walton, and Radmonivich from the team. Those 3 are the laziest players I've ever seen on a Lakers team...talk about pathetic rebounding on offense and defense, putting up poor shots, not moving around to get open, no one getting underneath the basket to rebound after someone shoots a bucket, the free throw shooting has been horrific for LA.

I'd be embarrassed to be a Laker right now, former, present, or future player.

The beatdown is complete. The Celtics did what I thought they couldn't, props to them and down with LA! Probably the most embarrassing closeout game in playoff history.

sure it was, if you were a lakers fan

People often ask me if I'm a lakers fan, I say "I can't be, I'm a Celtics fan from the 80's"

No it was a ****ty finals for anyone. It really wasnt even close, even the games the Lakers won, Boston should have and imo the Lakers were getting ALL the calls and still barely won those two.

I wasn't talking bout it being crappy because the Lakers lost, i just meant overall...it was not a very thrilling or entertaining Finals as a basketball fan, I was hoping it would be close, come down to a decisive Game 7, some O/T, on the edge of your seat stuff...instead it was just a lopsided affair.
