can i use a 01-04 center console. I see that 5.0 resto sells them. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=LRS-04536E%20%20%20%20%201&comp=LRS

are there any mods that i would need to make to get it to fit. I am planning on painting my interior all black, and i think it would be nice to have a brand new console if i could

You can, but I'm not sure what is needed to make it work. Kyle (GreenMustangGT I believe) has done this. Maybe he'll chime in.

Slides right in. There is a slight gap between the trans tunnel at the back of the console.

Ive got one from an 02 car in mine.

My parents just bought this car, it's a 95 GT vert with full 04 interior including guage cluster.

I had an 03 Charcoal console in my 94. Fit very nicely, but be aware the colors were different between the years. I really liked the Cupholders instead of the ashtray though.

I've got an 03 in my car....painted it with a flat black interior spray and couldnt look better. I got mine for about $70 on ebay.....
