hey all i have a new issue with my 66 coupe with a 289 and manual tranny in it. The car seems to not be charging the battery while i am driving. i have had the battery and the alternator both tested and they both passed. My issue is i can not figure out why it is not charging. I am thinking it could be a loose wire but i can not find any, although i am sure there could be some that i am missing. There is two things that i am thinking it could be so i would like all of your input. One thing i was thinking is maybe the starter solenoid or there is a connector on my coil that looks like there was a wire missing. I can not find a loose wire so my question is how many wires should be on my negative side of my coil with a electrical distributor. Any help would be great guys on places to look because this is my daily driver and its making it hard to get around.
