Ok so like 2 weeks ago went out to drive the stang after not driving it for like 3 days. Hit the key and nothing... So I am like ok dead battery no use even try to charge this one or jump start it orginal battery. So I go and get a new one. Problem fixed, atleast I thought. Went out today and hit the key after not driving it for like 2 days. Dead again. I am thinking something is draining it.. I got a alarm on it that not sure if even works or not. Came with the car deal. Maybe this going to disconnect it.
Whats the trick again to see if there is a drain on the battery? Put a trouble light on the terminals i remember sorta?
Could this be something else? Any ideas?

Thanks guys

Matt

To check to see if there is a drain on the battery, you should use and ammeter (current meter). Pull the negative cable, put the red lead of the meter on the cable, put the black lead on the on the battery terminal. The current draw should be VERY low.

I just checked my car, and it is drawing about 135mA (milli-amps)

You do the trouble light method the same way. Pull negative battery cable. Attach light between negative post and negative cable and see if it lights up. No light, no drain.
