I just copy/pasted this from another forum:

I've been searching around for the past few days on Google and plenty of forums, and I've come to find the cheapest place to buy the Borla Stinger Catbacks is on Jegs.com. It's $557.99 ($580.97 after a $13.99 handling charge and a $8.99 over-sized charge.) I've checked the http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/vendors/2286-online-mustangs-stores.html sticky as well, but if anybody can find it for cheaper than Jegs, but NEW, please, let me know before I place my order. Thanks!

Stingers new, I would say thats about the best price I have seen. I wanted them when I bought my SLP but $600 for a catback was too steep for me.

Well, I just found the following for $539.85 after S&H - $41.12 cheaper:

gefracing.com: 1999-04 MUSTANG GT EXHAUST KIT

It's made by Borla, and it's actually the EXACT same as the Borla Stinger Catback (P/N 140067.) While Googling, I stumbled upon the following:

This is an email of the research I did when looking for an exhaust. This is the reply I got from Borla:

Pitt,
Thank you for the email.
The only difference between the Borla 140067 and the Ford racing part #
M-5230-MS is the name on the muffler and tips.
They are manufactured by Borla for Ford Racing.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Borla Website - General Question
Hello, I am trying to buy a Borla exhaust system part#140067 for a
reasonable price but everyone seems to be out of stock. I was offered
the
Ford Racing exhaust system, part #M-5230-MS, the retailer tells me this
Ford
exhaust system is made by Borla and is the same thing as the Borla
Stinger
#140067, they state that the only difference is the Ford logo. Is this
information accurate or is there a difference between the 2 systems
aside
from the name? Thank you for your time.

Can't tell much from the pic but if it says its made by borla it should be the same thing. It even has the 4" tips like the stinger CB.

I thought the Steeda was the same as well, but I couldn't find the resonator-type. All Steeda has is mufflers.

Got mine lightly used on ebay for $450, i'm convinced that in some departments, used parts are the way to go.

Steeda Catback is not borla. It has a more similar mellower sound of a Magnaflow. Borla Stingers are freaking loud.

Stingers are LOUD and sound like total sex on a 4v. I couldn't justify $600 for a catback and went with Flowpaths and I've had a lot of compliments on the sound. And at half the price, i'll put the rest of the money towards something that will make the car faster
