I have a 2010 mustang gt, and I have pacesetter off road x pipes. Is there a way to trick or turn off the o2 code so my check engine light will go off , without having to put cats back on ?
Hi, Yes, there are ways to alleviate this, you may wish to consider that installation of quality, high flow Cats will not be discernible regarding power gains yielded & still allow you to pass yearly State Inspection.
If you desire to run Catless X pipes, a Tune can easily eliminate the downstream Sensors by vendors such as Bama, HPT, Lund, or localized Dyno Tuners. Plug in Reluctors which “piggyback” 02 Sensors by “tricking” the ECU are not recommended.

After the SCT lawsuit I'm not sure how many tuners will be willing to eliminate them if you live in a state with emissions testing. 08GT500 is correct catless is almost no power advantage over catted, you're just going to be obnoxiously loud
