Check Oil Light?

Yesterday my check oil light came on. I just changed the oil about month ago but I checked it anyway just in case. When I turned the car back on the light was off. What could be causing the light to go on and off?

If the oil level was OK, you might have a faulty oil level sending unit.

Was the car sitting at a great angle and / or was the oil level ok? Could also be the sensor or in the wiring.

I was driving on a flat road when the light came on. I pulled into a flat parking lot and checked it and the level was fine. Is there a sensor that could cause, if so where?

The low oil level sensor. Its on the drivers side of the oil pan
