The one on the left (bent up) is now junk.
There's not an easy/good way to test O2 sensors. And, with the price of gas, and how much Stangs drink gas, there's no good reason to reuse those sensors.
As sensors age, they run the engine richer. This "may" result in more power , but they also respond slower. IMHO, the slow *ss response time FAR outweighs the richer mixture and often results in less HP
Either way, older O2 sensors (after ~20K miles on our type) use more gas. And, often, they reduce the power of an engine on the street (since the gas pedal is just about "always in motion").
BTW: It looks like you're running lean on both sides. Did you get lean codes for both sides? Or, it could be additives making the white appearance.
No additives while I've had it. It does run lean according to the plugs. My mileage is pretty crappy also (15-16mpg). Never has thrown any codes in relation to the O2's.
Are the NTK sensors that A.M. sell any good?
Thats what I'm running in my car, NTK is the same company that makes NGK spark plugs so I'm sure their good. You can get the same thing at Advance Auto for $5 less than American Muscle

I work at advance auto and shopping online is the way to go. The coupons you get online are better then employee discounts. The O2 sensor costs 40 bucks, and if you spend 30 bucks your get 10 bucks off so that covers shipping. You can even by something else to get it to 50 bucks and then you get 20 bucks off so you still only spent 30 bucks plus shipping. They also sell an alternate fit bosch sensor with longer wires incase you have long tubes. I have long tubes on my car and used these sensors and didnt need to buy the extenders that BBK sells for like 30 bucks, and their only about $42 each.

I bought ford motor craft o2 sensors off rock auto.com for $37 each...cost $5 for shipping or something like that
