Here's what i was thinking. obviously that car is in rough shape. The paint is really faded...no shine what so ever. The interior is a hacked together mess of mis matched components and the underside of the car is not great.

I dont care if the car has 28k original miles on it or not...i would never buy a car like that. like so many others have said...you can find a lot better out there.

And buy a dam 5 speed. Who cares if you dont know how to drive one yet. Learn! 300 bucks for a new clutch after 5k miles of you screwing up is well worth it. Auto's get worse mileage, they're slower, and they arent fun to drive.

That looks to me like a 28k mile car that sat in a garage, much like my 62k car that sat in a garage and sometimes outside. As a matter of fact the paint on the bumpers looks much better than mine.

If he is indeed the original owner I'd jump on it, but realize without proof that could indeed be a 128k car tho I doubt it.

The steering wheel leather isn't wrinkled, the dash is perfect, the seats are not wrinkled except for a tear, the carpet is dirty but looks good, door panels immaculate.

PS: A car fax will do you no good. Well I'd still run one but, Carfax didn't start reporting until 1996 I think. Tak my car for instance, it has a clean bill of health when I know for a fact it was almost totalled in 1994. It was my friend's car so I know the mileage and know the history.
