i was needing to know if a hypertech chip will do any good in my car.it is for a 93 auto and the computer i have is a 90 auto, that is in a five speed car.i need to know pretty quik if this will help because if it wont im not gonna waste my money.thanks.
I agree with Grn92 - my guess is you're looking at bidding for something on ebay -- and it's not even for your model car. Let it go - focus on other things that you know are right for your car and will make a difference.

....model as in 'year model' which impacts ecu. But you're headed in the right direction. I'd never do a mail order chip. Work with someone in person - so the car can be dyno'd or driven -- and fine tuning can be done. I'd want someone that will make an adjustment if it's necessary after you've had a chance to drive the car on the street for a couple of weeks.
