Im not sure wether or not the chip for the v6 ECU can work for a ECU in a v8 GT. If the connections are the same size, then probably so. The computer programming is changeable so you can get any custom tune for your car you want as long as the connection area between the v6 ECU and v8 GT ECU is the same.
