I recently changed my struts on my 95 GT. changed the passenger side first everything was fine, then changed the drivers side and now i hear a clunking noise when i go over bumps. I know i tightened all of my bolts, any idea what it could be?

Is the sound in front or in back? have you checked your sway bars? I know my sway bar in the back broke off and it kept knocking my undercarriage over bumps.

Could be a strut bearing. Find out if it seems to be on one side or the other.

It is on the top of the strut rod, between two washers right below the sheet metal of the fender. It looks like a washer with a bunch of needle bearings embedded in it.

If not the front bearings look into the front bushings, There rubber and can go bad over time.
